Contract work became more of a focus or me during the post-pandemic years and after gathering some experience in my full-time roles. Projects over the years have included marketing sites, web apps, sign up flows, internal tools, and logos.
As the team’s first full-time designer, I saw both the product and team grow from early stages and was responsible for much of the initial design for the company’s marketing, brand, and product work.
Designed a set of poker cards as a passion project. Designed entirely in vector using Figma. Ongoing attempt at making an online business for my art.
As Oscar’s third designer, I saw and helped much of the growth of the design team in its hiring, team processes, and design system while working across multiple teams and apps.
Designed, branded, and coded two iterations of a static, informational website with a basic contact form across four years. The website has been in maintenance mode since 2016.
Worked with various clients to create multiple apps and experiences across mobile, tablet, and web. Responsibilities included wireframes, intensive prototyping, and eventually, leading project teams in UX direction.
Notable classes included Experimental Game Design, Interactive Objects, Making Things Interactive, HCI Methods, Human Factors, Programming in Java, C, and Rails.
Originally from Central Jersey, I went to school at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA for both my grad and undergrad and currently live in Brooklyn, New York.
I'm a designer, a techie, a wannabe musician, a dog lover, an aspiring ceramicist, and a novice cook. Ever since I was young, I have loved making things. It started with drawing and since then has evolved into robotics, ux/ui design, pottery, and web development. I can honestly say that I love what I do, am looking forward to more of it, learning more, and hopefully one day, making something great.
